THE KINTSUGI

Kintsugi is, in Japanese culture, the art of repairing broken china with a technique that leaves the fractures visible while highlighting them with a golden seal. The object that has lived and experienced trials is thus symbolically even more beautiful. Its fracture does not mean ending or discarding, but the beginning of another cycle, a renewed use, a renaissance. 

Crossed by golden veins, my sculptures are the metaphor of the rebirth of a stronger nature.
