Intention: "End of the Second Movement" is part of my brand-new serie, The Molting Season. Inspired by nature's constant transformations and mutations, I wish, through this series, to express the perpetual cycles that define life. Seasonal transition? Animal metamorphosis? While the idea of reptilian molting is present, this porcelain tapestry, in shades of green with copper accents, suggests the idea of a rich canopy in transition, signaling time’s passage and inevitable transformation. Twists, folds, undulations—as if moved by an invisible breath, I seek, through this strange sensation of being alive, to make people fell life and its movements.
